I WANT TO RUN MY PLASMA TV WIRES BEHIND THE WALL!!
When I've been abroad, I've seen restaurants and homes with satellite TV which allows the viewer to watch channels from all different countries. You simply select what countries provider you want and it tunes in.
Can you get these in England? Where from? What's the dish called?

I don't think it's Direct TV as that is only avaliable in USA and it only has a American channels.

I have a 5.1 home theater system that is not wireless, but I don't want the wires to show... is there some kind of adapter I could use to make my speakers wireless instead of having wires going all over the place all over my living room?
If this isn't possible, then any other tips to make the wires look as classy as possible are appreciated. =)
No more live music in Bangalore. Police is now enforcing a ban on live music performances of any kind and playback of music louder than background music from places which also sell alcohol (pubs, bars, restaurants). Bangaloreans, already prohibited to dance and directed to go home by 11:30, have less and less options for any entertainment in a city which is struggling to become a metro of international format.

I have a JVC TH-C20 and it works great but recently we went one vacation and unplugged all power cords...when we came back everything was plugged back in but the home theater system wont turn on...any help
We are pretty dependent on our DVR, but haven't been happy with our series 3 Tivo. Are there alternatives?
We don't have cable or satellite, just HD through our antenna.
Tivo gripes:
The Tuner works poorly, our TV tuner is much more sensitive
The on-screen menus are very slow to respond to the remote
I have to pay for a subscription, but they still put ads in the menus
The software is very buggy, sometimes freezing video or cutting off sound
